ePublishing EKT leverages EKT’s know-how and infrastructures for the digital transformation of peer-reviewed scientific publications and the promotion of Open Access. It provides to publishers a range of digital services at all stages of the editorial process and ensures the electronic publication of scientific content in accordance with current trends and internationally recognized standards. ePublishing EKT features three dedicated platforms for academic journals, proceedings and monographs, exclusively designed to leverage the dynamic modules of electronic editions.
With the ePublishing Service, EKT provides an inclusive operating context to support institutional publishers in the implementation of open access publishing models and facilitate content publication and dissemination in accordance with established policies, editorial ethics and standards. ePublishing EKT also provides an integrated search-and-access service to peer-reviewed content, thus contributing actively to the promotion of Greek scientific output.
At the same time, it invests at the co-operation with publishers and provides training on the infrastructures and tools used by the EKT, as well as a full support service.
The criteria for adding editions to the ePublishing infrastructure are as follows:

Publication of original content

Regular publication periodicity
Compliance to internationally acknowledged publication ethics
Publication launch (journal/proceedings/books) is subject of approval by a three-member committee appointed by the National Documentation Center.
