Greek Scientific Publications 1996-2010
Abstract:
Greek Scientific Publications 1996-2010: Bibliometric analysis of Greek publications in international scientific journals” is the second edition of EKT’s established study series which records scientific publishing activity in Greece and
its international impact.
The study series –a result of collaborative work– aims to create a consistent ground for monitoring and presenting data for the research environment in Greece and thus to enable correlations with levels of research activity in EU and OECD
countries. Our goal is to provide reliable evidence on the Greek research area, point to its strengths and contribute to a broader understanding of the potentials and challenges of Reseach and Development (R&D) in Greece.
