The journal "Investigating the child’s world" aims to promote scientific research and pedagogical innovation in the education of pre-school and early school-age children, to contribute
to the development of a fruitful and scientifically grounded interdisciplinary discourse on the education of young children, to become a means of communication between the members of the research and
educational community, the different parties involved in the education of young children.
The magazine is published in Greek and each article contains abstract and keywords in English.
The sections of the magazine are three:
A. Scientific articles: original research and theoretical texts on pre-school and early school education and the development of young children

A. Scientific articles: original research and theoretical texts on pre-school and early school education and the development of young children
B. Educational programs: presentations of innovative formal or non-formal educational programs for children of pre-school age or first school year age, or for their teachers (basic education or training), in conjunction with the relevant theoretical framework and with evaluation data.
C. Presentations: of books, doctoral dissertations, postgraduate papers, web sites, teaching manuals, educational material, conferences, workshops and cultural events, with particular emphasis on pre-school and first years school education.
